The rules, in plain language.
These Terms of Use govern your use of dadyolked.com and the DadYolked iOS app. By downloading or using DadYolked, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: September 12, 2026
The short version: DadYolked is a practical parenting companion, not a medical device. The core app is free. DadWingman is an optional auto-renewing subscription. If you subscribe, Apple bills you and you can cancel any time in your Apple Account settings. Your data stays on your device — see our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and George Zikry ("we", "us"), the developer of DadYolked. By using the app or the website, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use DadYolked.
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA) also applies to the DadYolked app, and these Terms supplement it. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, the standard EULA controls as to the licensed application.
2. Not medical advice Important
DadYolked is an informational and organizational tool for expectant and new fathers and caregivers. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Content in the app — including the Assistant, checklists, guides, growth charts, symptom information, and reminders — is general information only and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your or your child's health. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) immediately.
3. DadWingman subscription terms Auto-renewing
DadYolked's free tier includes grounded questions, care logging, and safety guidance. DadWingman is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional depth: Weekly Digest, Wingman Memory, Care Handoff, Pediatrician Prep, and Tonight Mode.
Billing and renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or from the manage-subscription link shown on the DadWingman purchase screen in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring and refunds
If you reinstall DadYolked or use a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the DadWingman screen to restore an active subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we are not able to issue refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Apple will notify you of any price change and, where required, ask for your consent before it takes effect.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse DadYolked, including by attempting to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, interfering with its normal operation, or using it in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
5. Your data and your content
You own the information you enter into DadYolked. We do not claim ownership of your logs, journal entries, photos, or notes. How that data is stored, shared, and deleted is described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Data stored on your device may be lost if you delete the app, lose the device, or reset it without a backup.
6. Third-party services
DadYolked relies on Apple services (iCloud/CloudKit, MapKit, HealthKit, Calendar, Speech Recognition, StoreKit) and Firebase Crashlytics from Google. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Availability and changes to the app
We may add, change, or remove features, and may release updates or discontinue the app. We aim to keep DadYolked working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
DadYolked is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of DadYolked. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surface the change in the app or in App Store release notes. Continuing to use DadYolked after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
