Useful, sourced, and honest about the boundary.
DadYolked publishes product information and practical guides for expecting and new dads. Health-adjacent content is written to help families organize observations and questions—not to diagnose, prescribe, dose medicine, or decide whether care can wait.
Who publishes the site
DadYolked is developed and supported by George Zikry. Unless a page names another author or reviewer, DadYolked is the publisher and no clinician review is claimed.
How sources are chosen
Health-adjacent pages prefer primary or authoritative sources: the family's own care team first, then professional associations, government health services, and established nonprofit maternal, infant, or mental-health organizations.
Medical and safety boundaries
- Tracking tools record information; they do not interpret symptoms or establish a diagnosis.
- Medicine tools never determine a medicine, dose, interval, or treatment plan.
- Calculators provide planning estimates and explain their assumptions.
- Urgent-warning language points readers back to their care team or emergency services rather than attempting triage.
- A page is not described as medically reviewed unless a qualified reviewer and review date are displayed.
Product claims and privacy claims
Product descriptions are checked against the current app. Privacy statements are kept consistent with the public privacy policy. Planned features are not described as shipping features.
Updates and corrections
Material updates receive a visible date. When guidance or product behavior changes, the relevant page should be corrected rather than quietly adding contradictory text. Readers can report a factual, accessibility, privacy, or safety concern at support@dadyolked.com.
Commercial independence
The site exists to explain DadYolked and provide related tools. It does not currently use affiliate links or accept paid placement in rankings. It does not publish sponsored rankings disguised as independent reviews. Comparisons state the criteria used and avoid pretending one app fits every family. If that business model changes, this section and affected pages must disclose it before publication.
